On July 30, 2025 the Armenian pilgrims visited Levonian Armenian Pontifical College and participated in the Holy Mass in Basilica of St. Nicholas of Tolentino, belonging to the College. The Holy Mass was served by His Excellency Kevork Archbishop Noradounguian with the assistance of four parish priests accompanying the pilgrims and with the concelebration of the Ordinary of Armenian Catholics of Constantinople, Most Rev. Fr. Vardan Gazanchian.
In his sermon His Excellency Noradounguian invited the young people to pay attention to the jubilee pilgrimage idea, calling for deeper reflection on Hope and Catholic identity, which is best expressed especially in the unity of young believers of different nations, who arrived from different countries sharing the same Catholic faith and hope.
“Dear pilgrims, for the Armenian people this is the entire spiritual wealth of being Catholic, when all people of the same faith gather in the same place, leaving aside their disagreements and hostility, breaking walls, obstacles and strengthening their common faith”.
After the Holy Mass the pilgrims guided by His Excellency took a sightseeing tour of Levonian College, got acquainted with the present and historical past of the prominent spiritual academic institution, saw the room of His Eminence Cardinal Grigor Petros XV Aghajanian, Catholicos Patriarch, as well as the museum items and the evidence of the legacy he left behind. The entire Armenian Catholic Church had been praying for canonization of the Servant of God, Cardinal Aghajanian.
