
Led by hope
On the occasion of the Jubilee Year of Hope and responding the invitation of the Holy Father, 50 Armenian Catholic young people from Armenia, Georgia and Russia, led by H.E. Kevork Archbishop Noradounguian and 4 parish priests, will visit Rome for pilgrimage and to participate in the Jubilee Youth Days, which will take place from 29 July to 3 August, 2025. At this religious event, which is organized every 25 years, will participate more than half a million young people from all over the Catholic world, who are invited to have unforgettable moments of pilgrimage and spiritual experience, repentance and renewal, also a prayer with the Holy Father at the ancient city-the huge sanctuary itself.
The schedule of the Armenian young people is quite full, including pilgrimages to the main sanctuaries of Rome-St. Peter’s Cathedral, procession to the Holy Door, visiting papal catacombs, also other churches like Basilica of Maria Magiore, where the remains of Pope Francis rest, Basilicas of Lateran and St. Paul Outside the Walls, other churches, dedicated to saints, also a visit to the sanctuaries of St. Francis and Chiara in Assisi, the sanctuary of St. Rita in Cascia, repentance prayers together, confessions and prayer vigil with the Holy Father Leo XIV, meeting and prayer with the Armenian young people from diaspora, a visit to the Armenian Levonian College, interactions with foreign Catholic youth, sharing with them the same Holy Eucharist at the same Holy Mass, which is the foundation of the unity of the Church, prescribed Christ.
Armenian young people, jointly with their spiritual leaders, will pray for the spiritual wellbeing, holiness of the Armenian Catholic Church and our Ordinariate, as well as for the health of the sick, the unity of the Armenian society, the repentance of each one of us and for the strengthening of our faith and hope.
All the saints of the Heaven, intercede for the Armenian pilgrims and for all of the Armenian Catholic Church. Amen.
