
Parish Priest of the Armenian Catholic community of Moscow and neighboring communities
Passport name: Ernest Yesayan.
Was born on October 19, 1979 in Baku, in the family of Armenians from Artsakh. Got school education in Baku. In 1988 the family moved to Belarus.
In 1996, after finishing school entered Skorzec minor seminary of the Congregation of Fathers of Immaculate Conception in Poland. On October 20, 1997 took his first religious vow, then continued his studies in the seminary in Lublin.
In 2003, having a strong desire to serve in the Armenian Catholic Church, moved to the Diocese of Armenia, Georgia, Russia and Eastern Europe. On August 1, 2004 in Gyumri was ordained as deacon by H.E. Nerses Archbishop Ter-Nersesyan.
After completion of studies in Poland and receiving Master’s Degree in theology (thesis on theology of St. Grigor Narekatsi), on May 22, 2005 in Arevik was ordained as archimandrite by the newly appointed Ordinary, H.E. Nshan Archbishop Garakeheyan.
On August 29, 2005 was appointed as parish priest of St. Grigor Narekatsi community in Yerevan and as inspector of minor seminary Nersesyan.
On October 1, 2013 was appointed as parish priest of the Armenian Catholic community of Moscow and neighboring communities, then as Vicar of Russian Diocese in the rank of proto-archimandrite.
