  • The Synod of the Armenian Catholic Church was opened with a Holy Mass, served by Catholicos Patriarch Raphael Petros XXI

    Archbishops and Bishops of the Armenian Catholic Church take part in the Synod.


    On the morning of February 4, 2022, His Holiness Raphael Petros XXI Catholicos Patriarch of the House of Cilicia, inaugurated the first Episcopal Synod of his Patriarchate with the Holy Mass at the Chapel of Our Lady of Narek the Levonian Seminary in Rome․

     

    Archbishops and Bishops of the Armenian Catholic Church take part in the Synod.

     

    The agenda of the synod sessions will mainly include the assessment of the general condition and needs of the Armenian Catholic Church, as well as the issues and challenges of the Eparchies.

     

    The sessions are divided into two parts։ morning sessions- from 9 to 13 o’clock- and afternoon sessions- from 4 to 7 o’clock. On Saturday session are scheduled only for the morning.

     

    At the end of the synod, on February 12, the communication note on the Synod work is also scheduled.
