On September 9, 2026, H. E. Archbishop Kevork Noradounguian paid an introductory visit to Zaza Vashakmadze, Chairman of the State Agency for Religious Affairs of the Government of Georgia.

Zaza Vashakmadze provided the Ordinary with information regarding the activities of the Agency for Religious Affairs, as well as the religious policy and projects implemented by the Georgian state in recent years, which contribute to the successful functioning of religious organizations in the country.

The Ordinary introduced the head of the agency to the activities of the Armenian Catholic Ordinariate in Georgia and, during the conversation, provided commentary on the doctrine and structure of the Armenian Catholic Church. At the conclusion of the meeting, the Archbishop expressed his gratitude to the Chairman of the Agency for Religious Affairs for the hospitality and stated his readiness to cooperate for the well-being of the Armenian Catholic faithful residing in Georgia.
